Today we will learn how to write a counterclaim/rebuttal paragraph for our argumentative essay so that we can build a strong argument that is well supported. We’ll know we have it when we’ve created a well-written paragraph that contains all the components listed on the checklist (top of yellow sheet).

Class Work:

Complete the draft of the counterclaim paragraph (Yellow Sheet).

Homework:
|
Make sure that the drafts of all three body paragraphs are completed.
