Today we will read like a writer by evaluating an argumentative essay so that we can learn what makes for good argumentative writing. We’ll know we have it when we’ve completed the Argument Essay: Peer Evaluation.
Class Work:
  • Argument Essay: Peer Evaluation
    • What did the writer do well?
    • What recommendations do you have for the writer for improvement?
    • What do you want to emulate from the writing?
  • Independent reading, if time permits.
  • Be sure to turn in all drafts of your argument essay today!
Homework:
30 Minutes of independent reading.
