Unit 6: Analyzing & Comparing Form & Structure

10 minutes of independent reading
Warm-Up:
Read the text You can order Pizza Hut
through sneakers and complete the reading response.
Objective:
We will learn how to write a short story that
develops real or imagined experiences or events using
effective technique, relevant descriptive details, and
well-structured event sequences by looking at an
example of a historical fiction short story.  
We’ll know we have it when we’ve completed our short
story and worked with a peer to revise and edit.

Finish writing short story
Peer revision and editing
