Mini-Lesson:

Together, we will review how to identify key details in a text and use those details to determine a central idea. Students will then read a short passage about Malcolm X and identify the key details that support the central idea of the text.

Focus Lesson:
|
Today we will discuss the text Names/Nombres and review the annotations students wrote for homework. Students will participate in a text-based discussion and preview the questions for tomorrow’s reading response.
